Company Growth
The Rapid Hose Systems story, so far...
2007
This story begins in July 2007 with the purchase of Rapid Hose Systems Benalla, located at 13 Enterprise Drive and initially saw the business specialize in retail sales and workshop repairs. Shortly after opening, the business purchased its first service utility, a Mazda BT50.
2009
For two years, Rapid Hose Systems continued to grow its brand and reputation in the area, and in 2009 relocated to 6A Samaria Road. Continued growth in the business saw the purchase of the first mobile service truck, a second hand Isuzu, which was already equipped as a service unit for onsite hose repairs.
2011
Fast forward to 2011, Jason and Becky identified an opportunity in Wangaratta where they opened an additional workshop located at 11 Parfitt Road. They called this business Wang Hydraulics & Hose Repairs. Jason and Becky purchased another mobile service unit for this branch, this time an ex-ambulance Transit van.
2013
Rapid Hose Systems Benalla and Wang Hydraulics & Hose Repairs continued to operate and grow in each of their respective areas, and an additional service truck purchased for Wang Hydraulics & Hose Repairs in 2013.
2014
In April 2014 Rapid Hose Systems Benalla, now a well-established business in the area, purchased a new workshop located at 16 Sydney Road - this is where you will find us today. This workshop is perfect with a large retail shop, an even bigger workshop and lots of storage for the biggest range of hose and fittings in the region. A few months after moving into the new shop in Benalla, Wang Hydraulics & Hose Repairs added yet another mobile service unit to the fleet with the purchase of an Iveco truck.
2017
Six years after opening, in December 2017, Wang Hydraulics & Hose Repairs had also established themselves as a leader in hydraulic repairs and maintenance for North East Victoria, which saw the purchase of a new workshop located at 205-207 Tone Road. Similar to Benalla, this new workshop boasts a large retail shop and workshop with much more room for workshop services and stocking the largest range of hoses and fittings in the area.
2018
On the 19th November 2018, the two businesses entered a new venture together; Rapid Hose Systems Benalla and Wang Hydraulics & Hose Repairs merged to become Rapid Hose Systems, servicing North East Victoria and surrounds. 12 years on… Rapid Hose Systems employs eleven locals. We also have two established workshops in Benalla and Wangaratta, backed by four mobile service units and three utilities.
2022
Now sees 5 service units operating across North East Victoria.
